Growing a community brand with creative design
Our partnership with Lincs Rural stretches over a decade, supporting their mission to provide safe, affordable housing across Lincolnshire. With a strong presence in rural communities, they needed a design approach that was warm, welcoming and practical. From high-visibility vehicle graphics to illustrated calendars and printed reports, our work with Lincs Rural is a great example of how creative design can bring a brand to life across multiple formats.

Telling a story, one month at a time
The illustrated calendar is one of the most beloved assets we’ve created together. Inspired by one of Lincs Rural’s green-fingered tenants, we designed a month-by-month calendar centred on hand-drawn gardening tips. Our illustrator sketched each scene digitally, layering in vibrant colour while keeping the charm of a hand-crafted feel.
Each calendar was printed on uncoated, recycled card stock for a tactile, natural finish. A sunflower-yellow wire binding added a pop of colour and a subtle nod to the calendar’s theme. Not only is this a feel-good project that tenants loved, it’s also smart marketing. After all, calendars stay in view all year round.


Creating consistent touchpoints
Designing a strong brand identity means consistency across every interaction. That’s why we also developed vehicle livery for Lincs Rural’s fleet, transforming their vans into moving billboards. We carried the brand’s friendly colour palette and logo through to high-impact, road-safe graphics that offer visibility on even the most rural routes.

In addition to external assets, we applied our creative thinking to practical items like letterheads, compliment slips and branded forms. Every touchpoint was carefully designed to reflect the professionalism and trustworthiness of the organisation.
Clear communication through considered design
For their annual report, we focused on making data feel clear and engaging. Our layout featured infographics, bold section dividers and smart typography to ensure easy reading across print and screen. Combined with Lincs Rural’s community photography, the report told a visual story of impact, making it just as engaging for tenants as for board members.
